Honest estimates
We tell you what we think it will take, and what we do not know yet. We would rather lose a project than promise something we cannot deliver.
IT Labs India spent 25 years building online applications and business software. Today the whole company is moving toward AI-based automation, with the same hands-on, founder-led delivery.
Akesh Jain, Founder & Lead Developer
Three places built me. At the Priyadarshini Institute for Computer Aided Knowledge, Pragati Maidan, I found my passion for computers in 1990, cleaning the Stoned virus off floppy disks by hand with DOS DEBUG and assembly learned from library books. At NIIT I learned UNIX, C++ and COBOL, and at JP Tech I learned Clipper on real hospital software. At IGNOU, studying for my MCA, I learned to analyse problems and design algorithms, including the B-tree indexes I have relied on ever since.
My first independent project came around 1993: LIC at the Jeevan Bharati building in Connaught Place had its bank data on tapes, and a software head who understood the data, but no staff who could work with it on computers. I converted the tapes to dBase files and built a bank reconciliation system in Clipper. Thirty-five years on, the same curiosity drives my work in AI.
The founder is a working developer, not a manager. They will join your calls, read your code, write the software and answer your emails. If your project needs skills beyond that, we will say so openly before you commit.
IT Labs India is led by its founder, a hands-on software developer with 25 years of experience building software and providing online project support for many companies. Over that time the tools have changed several times over, while the underlying work has not: understand the business, build something dependable, and look after it.
We build custom software and automation in any programming language, for any industry or individual, including mobile apps, and increasingly AI automation. We work remotely with clients all over the world, from New Delhi. Our experience covers web and business applications, process automation and integrations, trading and broker-API automation for fintech, server administration, hosting and DevOps on Linux, and AI integration.
We are deliberately a founder-led studio. When you contact IT Labs India you talk to the developer who will build your software, not an account manager relaying messages. That keeps communication honest and decisions quick.
For most of those 25 years the work was online applications: web and business systems, integrations, automation and the servers behind them.
AI has changed what is practical to automate. Software can now read documents, sort requests, answer questions from your own material and draft replies. IT Labs India is moving the whole company toward that work: advising businesses on where AI automation fits, building it, integrating it with the systems they already run, and operating it safely.
It is a transition, not an overnight rebrand. The software and online-application services remain, because they are the foundation AI automation stands on: integration, security, testing and support. What changes is the headline, and where most of our effort goes.
What does not change is how we work. The founder is hands-on, you talk to the developer who builds your system, estimates are written and honest, and you own what you pay for. We are applying the same thinking inside IT Labs India, moving our own routine work toward AI-assisted automation with people reviewing the results, the way we recommend to clients.
We tell you what we think it will take, and what we do not know yet. We would rather lose a project than promise something we cannot deliver.
The simplest design that does the job is the one that is cheapest to run and easiest to change.
Your code, your repository, your data. No lock-in.
Launch is the start. We plan for maintenance, updates and change from day one.
AI should take over the repetitive part of the work, not the decisions. We design automation so that a person reviews what matters.
We tell you where AI is not the right tool, and we measure results on your own examples rather than promising numbers.
Describe the work and the systems involved. We offer a free consultation and a written estimate, and you will talk directly to the developer who would build it.
